It would be nice to have an infra-red sauna. They are better for you than steam saunas.
The outside lights and pool lights need to stay on longer. It’s dark at 5:30 p.m. and they are off already.
1. Conspicuously place notices to remind members to not wear cologne or perfume in the workout area. 2. Put a reminder of the above on the GVR website and in the GVR NOW. Many people are sensitive to the scents of perfumes and colognes. These scents can trigger allergic and asthmatic reactions.
I would like to see a NuStep machine in each major fitness center. The NuStep is highly recommended for cardiac rehab and for those who have had heart issues. I use the one at Las Campanas and the East Center but also use the Canoa Hills and Canoa Ranch locations and there is no NuStep… Read more »

Put a time limit on use of swim lanes. There are two people that stay in lanes at this site for over two hours. That leaves only two lanes for everyone else. 30-40 minute limit when people are waiting for a lane.

Patio furniture under the Gazebo out by the pool is in bad shape and needs to be replaced.
In most cases, at least 50% of lockers are VACANT. Why not rent 50% of lockers for a price – maybe $10.00/month. If you rented 100 lockers in the GVR system you’d have an extra $1,000/month.
For the most part members are very courteous about cell phone use and not distracting other members. It may be worth considering something like • “silence your cell phones” or, • “limit cell phone calls to three minutes” This should apply throughout the facility – on the pool patio, in the gym, in the hallways….
