Purpose: Whether you are just about to buy your first digital camera or are a seasoned professional using the latest multimedia equipment, the Green Valley Camera Club has much to offer. We combine formal classes, workshops, focus groups, exhibits and field trips to provide opportunities to learn, discuss and practice all aspects of good picture taking. Our dedicated GVR facility includes a wide range of equipment.

GVR Computer Club

Purpose: The GVR Computer Club provides assistance, exchange of information, classes, and on-site equipment to members of GVR who share an interest in personal and Mac computers, tablets, smart phones, and software. We offer various informational classes and special interest group meetings throughout the week as well as Mac and PC labs for member use.
Membership: GVR membership is a prerequisite
Dues:  $25.00 Single, $35.00 Family
Meetings:  Third Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Rita Springs Social Center Anza Room, November through April
Activities:  Classes, including hands-on instruction, and demonstrations are offered presenting the latest in technology.  Mac and Windows machines are available for the drop-in use of members.  There are regular forums for questions and answers.

GVR Forum Club

Purpose: To provide speakers and the verbal interchange of ideas on programs of interest and relevance to the members. We feature a wide variety of subjects discussed & presented by sometimes fascinating experts with dramatic Power Point slides.
Membership: Open to GVR members
Annual Dues: $2.00
Meetings: Wednesdays at 9:00am to 10:00am at Desert Hills Auditorium. September thru May.
Location: 2980 S. Camino del Sol (Desert Hills Social Center)
Activities: Weekly presentations and question and answer sessions on a wide variety of topics.

GVR Travel Club

Purpose: To share travel information and experiences
Membership: GVR membership required to join the club
Annual Dues: $5.00 per member
Meetings: Every 3rd Friday of the month at Las Campanas at 9am, October, November, January, February, March, and April.

Activities: Slide and video presentations. Group discussions.

GVR Valley Players

Purpose: To present live theater to Green Valley area residents and to provide an outlet for GVR members who are interested in all facets of theater.
The Strolling Valley Players: 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month 12:30-2:00 pm

Membership: Approximately 30 active members.  Must be GVR member.
Annual Dues: $15.00 per person or $25.00 per couple:  Dues are waived once 80 or more in age
